Washrooms and Tack Room Area

The single washroom in the current facility is dilapidated and has very limited access for students with physical disabilities. It also serves as a change room, making preparation for classes and camps longer, limiting active time.  The new facility will be fitted with proper wheelchair accessible washrooms and a fully accessible tack room where students can take a more active, independent role in preparing for their lessons.

Multipurpose Room and Kitchen

The present facility has no real space for students and parents to gather for classroom instruction, summer camp activities, graduation and award celebrations, or social events. The new space and adjoining kitchen will be a modest addition, but will allow for Rainbow Riders to host its own events at minimal annual operating costs.

Offices and Reception Area

To plan and execute programs effectively, Rainbow Riders will hire a small staff. Three offices, a boardroom and a reception area will serve the needs of the organization and assure professional standards as capacity increases. And, bonus! The facility’s indoors will be heated for the first time!
